Aloo Subzi (with no onion & garlic)

Potato – 3 to 4 ( medium size)

Jeera – 1 tspn

Oil- 1 to 11/2 tbspn

Turmeric- 1 tsp

Kashmiri Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp

Salt, hing

To grind

Tomatoes – 2 1/2

Ginger – small piece

Green chilli – 1

Coriander leaves – few

In a pan , add the  potatoes, add enough water and cook until it is soft. Peel the skin and cut into small pieces / cubes. In a mixie jar, grind the tomatoes, green chillies, ginger . Finally add coriander leaves and give a pulse. In a pan, add 1 to 1 11/2 tbsp oil, jeera, saute, add the ground paste and cook until it leaves oil. Add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and saute. Now add the cooked potato along with the water. Add salt and hing. Cook until the gravy thickens. Garnish with coriander leaves.
